Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in navigating the store or online product offerings
- Identify customer needs through active listening and recommend suitable products or services
- Upsell additional items or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customers and highlight key products
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
Requirements
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer groups
- Previous experience in retail sales, or related fields is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and active listening abilities
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations
- Organizational skills to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Customer service mindset with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers
