Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand to join our team for the fall of 2026 (mid-August-November), and potentially our 2027 season. This role is to assist in building projects, tear-down and end-of-season tasks, and bulk hand harvesting and crop storage. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a passion for being outdoors in all weather conditions. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with training.
Responsibilities
- Assist in farm seasonal shut down
- Assist in livestock care and egg collection.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for various farming tasks.
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed for transporting materials or produce.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure productive workflow on the farm.
Experience
- Previous experience in farming or agricultural work is preferred but not required.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for measuring and calculating crop yields.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
