Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation programs for patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. Experience in acute care and pediatrics is highly desirable.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical capabilities and limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest evidence-based practices in physiotherapy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid physiotherapy license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred; pediatric experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail in patient documentation.
