Duties
- Assist with the preparation and setup, including clearing debris and organizing materials
- Perform general tasks such as lifting, carrying, working at heights and assembling st components
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely and efficiently under supervision
- Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary materials and assistance as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and productivity
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure workplace for all team members
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manual labour or construction-related roles, structural steel assembly and installation
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, working at heights.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment; experience with operating a forklift in beneficial.
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment
