Job Summary

Position Title: Food & Beverage Server

Reports to: Food & Beverage Manager

As a team member of our Food & Beverage Department, you must possess the ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain excellent service standards with your tables. It is your responsibility as a server to provide a friendly and welcoming workplace while creating an extraordinary dining experience for our members and their guests.

You must be a team player who works effectively with others and maintain a high level of excellence in the food and beverage service of our members and their guests. You must be flexible in meeting the varying scheduling needs of the Club and may be required to work additional hours than scheduled, if necessary.

The right candidate must be highly motivated and confident to work with minimal supervision. You are expected to maintain a high level of member engagement and prioritize your day to day responsibilities in a busy work environment.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

- Arrive on time, well groomed, and dressed in the appropriate club uniform.
- Maintain a friendly but professional demeanor at all times.
- Clean, organize, and prepare your assigned section for daily service and dining reservations.
- Possess complete knowledge of all menus in order to answer any menu questions from member and guests.
- Adhere to the department service standards for food & beverage requirements.
- Gracefully present, open, and serve bottles of wine in a professional manner.
- Efficiently prepare, pour, and deliver your own beverages
- Follow club procedures for handling and storing food products in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Assist in the opening and closing duties required for each shift.




- Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards and regulations.
- Monitor and restock inventory on a FIFO (First in First out) process.
- Organize and complete daily cash outs and member charges
- Contribute to the setup, service, and tear down of club event.
- Setup may include moving tables, setting up chairs, place tablecloths, place settings, and prepare buffets for club events.
- Cross training in our on course snack shack concession as needed.

Job Requirements

- Valid ‘Serving it Right’ Certificate.
- Flexible availability – available days, evenings, weekends, & holidays.
- A positive attitude is essential.

Experience

- Preferred qualifications would include a minimum of 1 year in a food & beverage service role
- Banquet service in a club, hotel, or catering service is an asset
- A customer service experience is beneficial

Working Conditions

- Ability to stand 6 – 8 hours at a time.
- Lifting up to 20lbs regularly, lifting up to 50 occasionally.
- Required to work outside when weather permits.
- Moving up and down stairs required.

- Greeting and seating customers
- Taking, confirming orders and relaying to the kitchen or bar staff

- Busing, cleaning, and resetting tables
- Set up and tear down for club events
- Answering phone calls
- Placing to-go orders
- Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitizing, sweeping floors, washing dishes
- Reconciling daily cash transactions
