We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable After School Program Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will support the daily operations of our Kids After School Program by helping create a safe, organized, and positive environment for children ages 5–9.

Working alongside the After School Program Coordinator and our coaching staff, you will assist with school pick-ups, supervise children, help them prepare for jiu-jitsu classes, and provide excellent customer service to parents.

Responsibilities:

- Walk with another staff member to pick up children safely from their school.
- Supervise children during the walk back to the academy, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Welcome children as they arrive and help them transition into the program.
- Organize children's backpacks and personal belongings.
- Assist children with putting on their jiu-jitsu uniforms when needed.
- Monitor children during free play and activities, ensuring they are playing safely and respectfully.
- Help prepare children for class and assist the coach during jiu-jitsu class.
- Provide support to children during drills and activities as directed by the coach.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment throughout the program.
- Welcome parents at pick-up time with a friendly and qualified attitude.




- Answer general questions about the After School Program or direct parents to the appropriate staff member when necessary.
- Build positive relationships with children and families through daily interaction and engagement.
- Assist with light cleaning and organization at the end of each shift.
- Support the team with additional program-related tasks as needed.
