Job Summary

Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to customers by providing in office installation, customer training, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of our products in an efficient and timely manner.

Key Duties/ Responsibilities:

- Perform field service repairs
- Install and setup equipment as required
- Provide end user training as required
- Perform planned maintenance on warranty and contract equipment as required
- Provide feedback of possible sales opportunities
- Ensure inventory is accurate and kept up to date
- Attend training as required
- Represent the company in a positive manner
- Support and assist other technicians as needed
- Be available for after hours on call service when needed
- Provide end user telephone support
- Provide timely and accurate paperwork of jobs done to the accounting department
- Maintain a service vehicle. Monitor the service forum and be an active participant on it
- Keep current on technical service news bulletins and on new products
- Able to work in shifts

Required Skills:

- Excellent communication skills
- Must have valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Must enjoy travelling and working out in the field
- Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Proven record in customer services skills




- Must have a solid mechanical aptitude and a good understanding of electrical schematics and electronics
- Experience in a technical role with a high level of customer interaction is preferred
- Minimum 2-years experience in a similar role
- Apply technical skills in an effective manner
- Competent in Excel, Access, and Word programs
- Advanced network computer skills
- Hands-on experience in software, hardware, and peripheral devices
- Working knowledge of Multimedia systems, LAN and Wireless networks
- Read schematics and technical manuals
- Exposure to general networking protocols, specifically TCP/IP
- Working knowledge of Point of Sale systems is preferable
