Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The requirements for this job are acquired through undergraduate degree in business or a related discipline plus a minimum of 8 years of related experience in enterprise risk management.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Advanced interpersonal and communication skills to provide specialized expertise, advice, and guidance to influence all levels of the organization.

Thorough understanding of TransLink’s strategic and operational priorities, including the policies, climate and culture that govern the organization’s political structure. Ability to quickly understand the various functional / departmental requirements.

Advanced expertise in enterprise risk management, including strategy integration, capital planning,



and decision support

Solid knowledge of the systems and technology (including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, SharePoint and other ERM systems) to optimize ERM information.

Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making and integrate risk into strategic and financial processes

Advanced problem solving and decision-making skills to provide advice and counsel on sensitive and highly confidential issues with attention to detail.

Excellent report writing skills and advanced speaking capabilities. Skilled in analysis and review of reports and making presentations to Senior Management.

Other Information

Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

37.5 hours per week.

Hybrid

This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C.

Rate of Pay

The salary for this position ranges from $109,920 - $164,830 per annum. Actual salary offered will be based on education, experience, skills, and qualifications as they relate to the role.
