We are seeking an experienced Epoxy Flooring Specialist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for concrete surface preparation, concrete repair, crack injection, and installation of high-performance epoxy and polyurethane flooring and containment systems on industrial and commercial projects throughout Central Alberta.
This is a hands-on position for individuals who take pride in quality workmanship, work safely, and have experience with specialty coatings and concrete restoration.
Duties
- Concrete grinding, scarifying, and surface preparation
- Abrasive blasting and coating removal
- Installation of dust containment and hoarding systems
- Epoxy crack injection and structural concrete repairs
- Concrete patching and restoration
- Application of epoxy, polyurethane, polyaspartic, and elastomeric coating systems
- Installation of chemical-resistant flooring and secondary containment systems
- Broadcast and application of anti-slip aggregates
- Coating inspections, holiday testing, and thickness verification
- Site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance
- Adherence to project specifications and safety procedures
Experience
- Experience with epoxy flooring or industrial coatings
- Knowledge of concrete preparation and repair techniques
- Ability to operate grinders, mixers, and coating equipment
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing demanding work
