Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and hands-on Warehouse & Counter Associate to join our established electrical product distribution team in Edmonton. This is a permanent, full-time, long-term career opportunity designed for someone who wants stability, routine, and a stable job.

Key Responsibilities & Daily Tasks:

1. Inventory & Stock Management:

- Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming freight and wholesale shipments against packing slips.
- Organizing warehouse stock systematically, ensuring high-turnover parts are easily accessible.
- Accurately pulling product orders for contractor pickups and maintaining a clean, hazard-free warehouse layout.

2. Counter Sales & Customer Service:

- Greeting walk-in electrical contractors and trade professionals with a skilled, confident demeanor.
- Handling incoming phone inquiries, checking stock availability, and providing accurate product specifications.
- Processing sales transactions efficiently at the counter and assisting customers with load-outs.

3. Administrative Operations:

- Utilizing QuickBooks software daily to manage inventory databases, update part numbers, and track stock levels.
- Processing sales invoices, purchase orders, and handling basic daily administrative record-keeping.
- Assisting with internal software integration and inventory auditing to keep records tight and accurate.

4. Physical Warehouse Duties:





- Routinely lifting, carrying, and stacking heavy electrical stock without restriction.
- Handling heavy materials such as industrial wire coils, rigid conduit bundles, and large distribution breaker panels.
- Maintaining general physical organization and safety standards across the storage facility.

Strict, Non-Negotiable Requirements

- Reliable Personal Vehicle: You must possess a valid driver’s license and a dependable personal vehicle. Public transit unreliability or dependency on bus schedules is an absolute dealbreaker, particularly when opening or managing facility operations independently.
- Physical Stamina & Strength: Must be fully capable of performing physical labor and routinely lifting heavy materials without restriction.
- Strong Communication Skills: This is a customer-facing role requiring professional social confidence. You must be comfortable speaking clearly, interacting directly with contractors, and handling phone calls with professionalism.
- High Initiative & Work Ethic: A self-starter attitude with the willingness to learn our extensive inventory, spot tasks that need completion, and work autonomously without constant supervision.
