Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Bodyman to join our dynamic automotive repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition by repairing and refinishing damaged body parts. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle meets our high standards for quality and safety, providing customers with exceptional service and satisfaction. Duties

- Remove damaged panels, dents, and rust using hand tools and power tools with precision and care
- Repair or replace body panels, fenders, doors, and other vehicle components according to manufacturer specifications
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, grinding, and masking to ensure a flawless finish
- Apply primer, paint, and clear coat using spray guns or other finishing tools, ensuring color match and durability
- Conduct heavy lifting of vehicle parts and components safely to facilitate repairs
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to vehicle body alignment and structural integrity




- Maintain a clean and organized work workplace, adhering to safety protocols at all times

Skills

- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive body repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle structures and repair techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, dollies, pry bars, and sanders
- Experience working with power tools including grinders, drills, and spray guns
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or bulky parts
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and industry best practices
- Mechanic experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in vehicle maintenance tasks
