Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently to achieve high standards of cleanliness
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and sanitize surfaces regularly to maintain hygiene standards
- Dispose of trash and recyclables properly while ensuring waste areas are kept tidy
- Follow health and safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or contamination
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Maintain cleaning schedules and record completed tasks for accountability
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience preferred, especially in commercial settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of commercial cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
