Responsibilities

- Diagnose issues with small engines using schematics, manuals, and electrical testing tools
- Perform repairs on a variety of equipment including lawn mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and other power tools
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, blade sharpening, and engine tune-ups
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Interpret schematics and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems
- Assist customers with product advice, sales support, and service recommendations to enhance their experience
- Lift heavy equipment safely during repairs or parts replacement while adhering to safety protocols

Skills





- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in small engine repair or automotive repair
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Electrical experience to troubleshoot wiring issues within small engines or power tools
- Ability to lift heavy equipment safely and work in physically demanding conditions
- Knowledge of Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery is a plus but not required
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Preference will be given to applicants that have experience with Harley Davidson, Honda, Yamaha, Cub Cadet and Suzuki product servicing

Pay: $26.00-$36.00 per hour

- Journeyman: 1 year (required)
- Harley Davidson Service: 2 years (preferred)
- Honda Service: 2 years (preferred)
- Yamaha Service: 2 years (preferred)
- Suzuki Service: 2 years (preferred)

Language:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Journeyman Certificate (required)
- Motorcycle License (required)
