Overview
We are seeking a responsible and competent DZ Boom Truck Driver/Operator who knows how to drive 10-13 speed manual flatbed truck to join our dynamic team, you will be responsible for safely operating boom trucks and related equipment to transport and position building materials on construction sites. Your mechanical knowledge, communication skills, and commitment to safety will ensure smooth operations and excellent service for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate boom trucks to load, unload, and position materials at various construction sites
- Communicate effectively with site personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Perform routine inspections of equipment to maintain optimal functioning and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Ensuring loads are secured properly before lifting or moving
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining professional interactions with clients and site teams
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, inspections, and operational logs
Experience
- Construction experience or background working in a construction environment is highly preferred
- Valid boom truck operator certification
- Experience with crane operation, rigging, and mechanical troubleshooting is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members effectively
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and problem-solving skills
Certification required: 0-8 Ton Boom Certificate, Clean abstract
