Excavator Operator – Demolition

Full-Time | $28–$35 per hour | Monday–Saturday
Location: Edmonton, Alberta

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our demolition team. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with experience operating heavy equipment in commercial and residential demolition environments. Responsibilities:

- Operate 200–400 series excavators safely and efficiently on demolition projects
- Perform structural and selective demolition using a variety of demolition attachments
- Operate shears, grapples, and other demolition equipment as required
- Sort, separate, and stockpile demolition materials for recycling and disposal




- Load trucks efficiently with demolition debris and recycled materials
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
- Work closely with supervisors and ground crews to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule
- Follow all company safety policies and OH&S; regulations
- Assist with general site duties when required

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience [preferred]
- Experience operating 200–400 series excavators
- Experience with demolition projects is strongly preferred
- Experience operating skid steers and wheel loaders is considered an asset
- Ability to safely use demolition attachments, including concrete crushers and grapples
- Strong understanding of safe demolition practices
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence (Class 1 or Class 3 is considered an asset, but not necessary)

Compensation:

- $28–$35 per hour, depending on experience
- Full-time, consistent work schedule (Monday–Friday, with Saturday work as required)
- Opportunities for overtime
- Competitive wages based on skill and experience
