About the Role

This is an on-call position — hours are not guaranteed and will vary based on booked jobs. When work is available, you'll be contacted in advance. Some days may also include light business development tasks like flyer distribution. Pay is consistent regardless of task.

This works well as a supplemental income source for experienced roofers who want flexible work without a full-time commitment.

What You'll Be Doing

- Supervising the crew and/or:
- Measuring roofs, calculating material quantities, and contributing to accurate job estimates
- Installing asphalt shingle roofing systems including underlayment, ice & water shield, and flashings
- Inspecting roofs to identify damage, diagnose leaks, and completing repairs to shingles, flashing, and decking




- Applying caulking, sealants, and waterproofing materials
- Reading project scopes and following manufacturer installation guidelines
- Following Manitoba Workplace Safety & Health regulations on every job site
- Supporting light business development tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 3 years of residential roofing experience
- Experience with roof inspections and project estimating is a solid asset
- Comfortable with hand tools, pneumatic nail guns, ladders, and safety equipment
- Able to perform physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights, and extended time on your feet
- Able to work outdoors in varying Manitoba weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to Winnipeg-area job sites; Class 5 Driver's Licence is an asset
- Valid Fall Protection certification preferred — training available for the right candidate
