Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest safety standards. This role offers the opportunity to work with a agile team in a fast-paced environment, utilizing a range of skills including heavy equipment operation and automotive repair knowledge.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues




- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshoot mechanical issues when necessary
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation duties

Requirements

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience in freight transportation and commercial driving preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and perform automotive repairs is a plus
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience with automotive repair or maintenance is advantageous
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy
