NewGen Cleaning Services is looking for a reliable and experienced janitorial subcontractor or established cleaning company to provide recurring cleaning and seasonal property-maintenance services in Fort Vermilion, Alberta.

This is a long-term subcontract opportunity for a local company or independent contractor with reliable transportation, cleaning experience, and the ability to provide consistent service throughout the year.

This is a subcontractor opportunity and not an employee position.

Responsibilities

- Complete scheduled commercial cleaning outside regular business hours
- Clean and disinfect washrooms
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors, stairways, and entrance areas
- Empty garbage and recycling and replace liners
- Clean staff-room and common-area surfaces
- Dust furniture, blinds, windowsills, counters, and other accessible surfaces
- Restock paper products, soap, and other washroom supplies
- Complete periodic deep-cleaning tasks
- Perform seasonal lawn mowing, trimming, and spring cleanup
- Clear snow from walkways, stairs, and entrance landings before required opening times
- Apply ice melt when necessary
- Report damages, access issues, hazards, or supply concerns
- Correct any identified cleaning deficiencies promptly

Requirements





- Commercial or janitorial cleaning experience
- Ability to service the location before 8:15 a.m. or after 4:30 p.m.
- Availability for early-morning snow clearing before 8:00 a.m.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence
- Ability to provide qualified backup coverage for absences
- Own cleaning, lawn-care, and snow-clearing equipment
- Ability to provide cleaning products, consumables, and seasonal supplies
- Robust attention to detail and communication
- Ability to follow safety, security, confidentiality, and reporting procedures
- Must be legally authorized to work and operate a business in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

- Registered cleaning company
- WCB coverage or willingness to obtain it
- Commercial liability insurance or willingness to obtain it
- WHMIS training
- Criminal record check
- Previous experience servicing commercial, institutional, or public-sector facilities
