Position: Sr. Manager, Business Systems Analyst (Global Equity Technology)
Location: Hybrid, 1x per week in office (Toronto, Downtown)
Structure: Permanent, FTE
Pay: Up to $140,000 base salary

Requirements:

- 10+ years of capital markets data analysis experience
- Hands-on Python (critical): connecting to data sources, parsing nested JSON data
- Kafka and Elasticsearch: real-time data streaming, analysis, and pipeline work
- Apache NiFi: candidate must understand how data flows through NiFi pipelines
- SQL and Excel (pivots, macros) for day-to-day data analysis
- ETL / data transformation experience




- FIX message protocol and API tooling (Postman, REST APIs)
- Vendor/platform experience: Fidessa, Broadridge, Bloomberg, Reuters/Refinitiv
- Reporting tools: Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects
- Equities lifecycle knowledge: institutional equity trading, order management, regulatory frameworks
- Strong communication skills: ability to articulate complex technical concepts to senior business leaders
