We are seeking reliable and experienced Operators/ Drivers to join our team.
This role involves:
- Managing the tow truck you have been given to deliver customers vehicles safely and in a timely fashion.
- Complete your daily paperwork
- Respond to all calls given in a timely fashion
- Must be organized and take direction well
- Must be able to work as a team member
Duties
- Show up for work on time
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate documentation of calls and vehicle maintenance records
- Reply to the dispatcher on duty in a timely fashion
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding all calls given and any issues
Requirements
- Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in towing and all aspects of this industry is an asset
- Ability to operate Flatbeds and Wreckers safely and efficiently
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards (MTO)
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and perform vehicle inspections
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently
- Fluently, Read, Write and understand English
- Daily paperwork requirements
- Available for all shifts including, Days, Nights, Weekends and Holidays
- Must live in the Muskoka area and or willing to relocate
