Construction Project Coordinator

Struct-Con Construction Ltd. is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our Brampton based team as a Project Coordinator. This is an opportunity to join a company with over 30 years of construction experience. As a key member of the Struct-Con team, you will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager(s) in all aspects of document management and presentation. Travel throughout the GTA area may be required.

Duties:
- Provide project management support to support planning and procurement.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure proper document management.
- Log and distribute shop drawings and other related submittals.
- Create and coordinate documents such as Purchase orders, Sub-Contracts, RFI's.
- Duties include filing, document tracking, data entry etc.

-Attend client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements

-Update schedule as required.

-Maintain Contract Execution Tracking Log, Etc.

-Keep the Project Manager and others informed about the project status and issues that may impact client relations

Requirements:




- 3 to 5 years experience in the construction industry.
- Experience with Jonas Management Software an asset.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)

-Strong working knowledge of MS Project and scheduling.
- Strong time management and organizational skills required.
- Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal.
- Post-secondary education.
- Ability to work with others as a team.
- Ability to work flexible schedule as the project schedule demands.
