Front and Centre Bakery is looking for a friendly, dependable customer service team member to join our growing bakery. We're a small, family-owned bakery known for fresh baked goods, homemade lunches, and creating a welcoming experience for every customer who walks through the door.
This is more than just running a cash register. You'll be the face of our bakery and an important part of the customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Welcome and serve customers with a friendly attitude
- Operate our point-of-sale system
- Package baked goods and prepare customer orders
- Keep displays stocked and looking their best
- Help maintain a clean and organized front of house
- Answer customer questions about our products
- Work alongside the owners to create a positive, welcoming atmosphere
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Friendly and genuinely enjoys interacting with people
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to multitask while staying organized
- A team player who isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed
- Willing to learn and take initiative
- Available to work primarily weekends
Previous customer service or food service experience is an asset, but a great attitude and a willingness to learn are even more significant.
Hours
Approximately 20-25 hours per week, with shifts primarily on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Additional hours may be available from time to time.
Starting Wage
Starting at $18.00 per hour, based on experience.
