Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Flatdeck/Stepdeck Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and equipment across Canada/USA. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, timely deliveries, and maintaining vehicle integrity.

Duties

- Safely operate trucks for local or long-distance freight transportation, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery schedules, and documentation
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to keep vehicles in optimal condition
- Assist with warehouse operations including loading, unloading, and inventory management
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues

Requirements





- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Must be capable to enter USA
- Experience in commercial driving, freight transport, or related fields
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other industrial machinery
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to transportation regulations
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks related to freight handling
- Prior experience with freight logistics or warehouse operations is preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently during deliveries
- Flatbed/open deck experience preferred (not required)
- Strong safety mindset and professionalism

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
