Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, skilled service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems (Micros POS experience is an asset)
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions and billing accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Support team members and assist with general front-of-house duties as needed
- Manage multiple tables effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Address guest questions or concerns promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in a restaurant environment (required)
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing
- A positive attitude and robust work ethic
- Serving It Right certification (required)
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada (valid SIN)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
