We are currently seeking experienced, reliable, and skilled Banquet Servers to join our growing event staffing team.
We provide staffing services for Celebrations of Life, corporate events, private functions, and receptions throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
As a Banquet Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service at private events, corporate functions, celebrations of life, weddings, and receptions. You will work alongside our event team to ensure every event runs smoothly and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to client requirements
- Serve plated meals, buffet service, hors d'oeuvres, and beverages
- Clear tables and maintain a clean and organized event space
- Assist with event breakdown and cleanup
- Follow service standards and event timelines
- Provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Work collaboratively with captains, bartenders, and event staff
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of banquet or event serving experience (required)
- Smart Serve Certification (required)
- Food Handler Certificate (required)
- Reliable transportation or the ability to travel to various locations across the GTA
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to carry trays and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
