We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Material Handler to join our client's growing team in Kanata. As a key member of the day shift, you'll play a vital role in driving success and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Required Skills and qualifications:

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or material handling environment
- Working knowledge of inventory control principles and material flow processes
- Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with inventory management and tracking systems
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to support operational goals
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods between storage locations and production areas
- Ensure production workstations are consistently supplied with the materials required to maintain continuous operations
- Process inventory transactions using inventory management software, barcode scanners, and manual documentation as required
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts, audits, and physical inventory activities
- Prepare and stage materials for production in accordance with schedules, work orders, and operational requirements
- Remove completed products, waste, and scrap materials from production areas in a timely manner
- Follow FIFO (First In,



First Out) inventory practices and established material handling procedures to ensure inventory accuracy and product integrity
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment in accordance with workplace standards
- Comply with all company safety regulations, quality requirements, and standard operating procedures
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, and supply shortages to the appropriate supervisor or department

The starting wage for this position ranges from $21.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule: Monday to Friday – 7:00am to 3:00pm
