Overview

Join our agile manufacturing team as a CNC Machine Operator / Roto Winder Operator and become a vital part of producing high-quality components for diverse industrial applications. In this role, you will operate advanced CNC machinery, including CNC milling machines, lathes, and press brake machines, to shape and wind materials precisely according to detailed specifications. Your expertise will ensure efficient production workflows, uphold strict quality standards, and contribute to the seamless operation of our manufacturing processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and develop your skills in machining, programming, and mechanical assembly.

Duties

- Set up and operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other related equipment such as CNC programming tools and SolidWorks for design interpretation.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings accurately to determine machining requirements.
- Program CNC machines using Fanuc controls and other programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to produce precise parts.
- Operate roto winding machinery to wind coils or similar components efficiently while monitoring quality throughout the process.
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, including troubleshooting issues with CNC programming or mechanical components.




- Conduct quality control inspections and document results to maintain high standards of manufacturing excellence.
- Assist with packaging finished products securely for shipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations; operate forklifts when necessary for material handling.

Skills

- Proficiency in CNC programming, including familiarity with Fanuc controls and CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and machining processes including CNC milling, lathe work, welding, and press brake operations.
- Experience operating roto winders or similar winding machinery is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated manufacturing environments.
- Ability to use hand tools, calipers, and basic math skills for precise measurements and adjustments.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including forklift operation for material handling.
- Understanding of quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications consistently.
- Background in manufacturing or machining environments with experience in assembly is a plus.
