Responsibilities

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum activities that promote early childhood learning and growth
- Support children’s social-emotional development by fostering positive interactions and conflict resolution skills
- Collaborate with families to ensure individual needs are met and maintain open communication regarding children’s progress
- Supervise daily classroom activities, ensuring safety, engagement, and inclusivity for all children
- Utilize computer skills for documentation, lesson planning, and communication with team members and families
- Lead classroom management efforts by organizing routines, managing time effectively, and maintaining organized learning environments

Requirements





- Valid Level 3 Early Childhood Educator certification or equivalent qualification
- First aid, CPR and vulnerable sector check is required

- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, including classroom experience
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, child development, and inclusive practices for children with disabilities or special need
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
- Proficiency in computer operation for documentation, lesson planning, and record keeping
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong organizational skills and time management capabilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: $15.00-$23.62 per hour
