Position Overview
As a Receiver / Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for receiving inbound shipments, unloading trailers, verifying inventory, putting stock away, and supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has experience with reach trucks, dock stocking, walkie riders, and inventory handling and is committed to accuracy, safety, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload inbound shipments safely and efficiently.
- Operate Reach Trucks and Walkie Riders to move and store inventory.
- Verify packing slips and purchase orders against received goods.
- Inspect products for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Process inbound receipts and update inventory locations.
- Perform stock put-away and manage overstock inventory.
- Restock pick locations as required.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Generate shipping labels and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse, distribution, receiving, or inventory experience.
- Experience operating Reach Trucks is required.
- Experience operating Walkie Riders is required.
- Dock stocker / dock receiving experience is required.
- Valid forklift certification is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
