Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry, blueprint reading with the ability to work efficiently on commercial and residential projects. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of heavy lifting, operating power tools and executing accurate framing tasks.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute framing projects accurately.
- Construct, install, and repair structural frameworks using wood, steel, or other materials.
- Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed for foundation or structural components.
- Operate hand tools, power tools safely and efficiently.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials up to specified weight limits to ensure proper placement of structural elements.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment on-site.




- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards.
- Maintain clean work areas and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored after use.

Experience

- Proven experience as a carpenter or framer with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required.
- Prior experience working with heavy equipment operation is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining attention to safety standards.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
