Cleaner (Food Manufacturing Facility)

We are currently hiring a Cleaner on behalf of one of our valued clients in the food manufacturing industry. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workplace.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that common areas and designated workspaces are kept clean and sanitary while following company policies and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain warehouse floors, including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, lunchrooms, and other common areas.
- Empty garbage and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Refill cleaning supplies and washroom consumables as needed.
- Ensure all assigned areas are clean, organized, and maintained throughout the shift.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or cleaning supply shortages to the supervisor.
- Perform other general cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned.





Requirements

- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is an asset, preferably in a manufacturing, warehouse, or food production environment.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
