Union Tractor is looking for an experienced Shop Foreman to lead our service team while remaining hands-on with diagnostics, repairs, and mentoring technicians. If you're a Red Seal Journeyperson with strong leadership skills and a passion for heavy equipment, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

- Lead, coach, and mentor Heavy Equipment Technicians and Apprentices
- Manage daily shop operations, workflow, scheduling, and productivity




- Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Support customers and internal departments with technical expertise
- Ensure quality workmanship, safety compliance, and accurate documentation
- Assist with warranty, quoting, labour management, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

- Red Seal Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician
- Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment experience
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
- Solid hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and electronic diagnostic skills
- Experience with Caterpillar, Volvo, Komatsu, John Deere, or similar equipment
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
