Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Red Seal Machinist to join our team. Your expertise in MasterCAM and/or GibbsCAM will be essential for programming and setting up complex CNC machinery to produce high-precision components. This is an exciting role for machinists who want to take their skills to the next level, working with some of the most advanced technology in the industry.

What You’ll Do:

- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and complex multi-axis,



multi-tasking equipment.
- Use MasterCAM and/or GibbsCAM software to create and modify CNC programs for complex parts.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure precise and accurate machining.
- Conduct inspections using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part accuracy.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize processes and ensure efficiency while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards in the shop, ensuring compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

- Red Seal Certification as a Machinist is a preference
- Proficiency in MasterCAM and/or GibbsCAM programming software.
- Minimum of +3 years of experience in CNC machining, with specific experience on multi-axis machines.
- +3 years experience on Doosan/Nakamura machines would be beneficial. All Fanuc based controls.
- Strong knowledge of machining materials, cutting tools, and advanced programming for multi-axis operations.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts within tight tolerances.
- Familiarity with a CMM would be beneficial.
- Understanding GD+T is an asset.




- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
