About the job:

Meraki Construction is hiring full-time Civil Construction Equipment Operators for the Tachie Road Reconstruction Project. Equipment Operators will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to support road construction activities, including earthworks, grading, aggregate placement, and culvert installation.

Operators will work closely with the Foreman, labourers, and other site personnel to support efficient project completion while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities include:

- Safely operate heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, graders, and other support equipment as required
- Complete earthworks, grading, and material placement activities according to project requirements
- Support road construction activities, including aggregate placement and culvert installation
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Work collaboratively with the site team to meet production goals and project timelines
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality,



and environmental requirements
- Assist with general site activities as required

About you:

- Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a construction workplace is required
- Experience with road construction, earthworks, aggregate placement, grading, or culvert installation is considered an asset
- Ability to safely operate equipment in an active construction environment
- Strong understanding of safe equipment operation and site procedures
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and in a remote project environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Project Details:

- Location: Tache, BC (approximately 45 minutes north of Fort St. James)
- Project Duration: August 2026 - November 2026, (possibility of project extension)
- Schedule: 6 days on / 1 day off
- Travel assistance available for eligible out-of-town employees
- Living Out Allowance (LOW) available per day worked
