We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to lead the user experience and interface design for a Microsoft 365–based modernization of a mission-critical, form- and workflow-heavy application. You will design and secure business sign-off on core application pages, establish a complete visual design system, and define navigation, component, and interaction standards for a dual front-end experience spanning Power Apps and SPFx/SharePoint Online.
MUST be from Latin America or India
MANDATORY QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS
Candidates who do not meet ALL of the following criteria will not be considered.
· Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer on enterprise or line-of-business applications (form- and workflow-heavy systems)
· Demonstrated ability to build and document a reusable design system (design tokens, component library, interaction standards)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Design & Sign-Off
· Design and secure business sign-off on core pages: landing page, navigation/header/footer framework, sample data-input page, sample listing page (grid/gallery), and sample view-item page
· Produce design artifacts (wireframes, prototypes, and documented design system) at a fidelity sufficient to support business sign-off
· Run design reviews and secure stakeholder sign-off; not just produce screens
Design System & Visual Standards
· Establish a complete visual design system: color palette (primary, secondary, accent, semantic, neutral/grayscale, disabled), typography scale, spacing/grid units, iconography (Fluent UI recommended), border radius, shadows/elevation, and logo/branding placement rules
· Define component and control standards: button styles/states, form input patterns, card/list-item layouts, modal/dialog patterns, table/grid styling
· Build a reusable component library (Canvas Components for Power Apps) for headers, footers, nav bars, buttons, form fields, toasts, and loading states
Navigation & Information Architecture
· Define a consistent nav pattern chosen once and reused across the application
· Establish breadcrumb/back standards, screen naming and grouping conventions, and consistent primary-action placement
· Define the home/landing pattern
Interaction, Feedback & Responsiveness
· Define interaction and feedback patterns: loading indicators, success/error toast/banner conventions, confirmation dialogs for destructive actions, empty-state patterns, and form-validation feedback
· Define responsiveness: breakpoints and behavior for phone, tablet, and web; auto-layout vs. fixed-positioning standard; cross-device testing checklist before publishing
Cross-Platform & Collaboration
· Design for two front ends and two audiences: full authoring/administration in Power Apps and a lightweight, read-focused SPFx experience — while keeping the experience consistent across both
· Partner with the Business Analyst to ensure designs stay aligned with documented requirements
· Partner with the Architect to ensure designs are feasible within SharePoint/Power Apps/SPFx platform constraints
PRE-DEFINED DELIVERABLES
· Lead the user experience and interface design for a Microsoft 365–based modernization of a mission-critical application
· Design and secure business sign-off on core pages (landing, nav framework, data-input, listing, view-item)
· Establish a complete visual design system (color, typography, spacing, iconography, elevation, branding)
· Define navigation and information architecture standards
· Define component and control standards and build a reusable component library (Canvas Components)
· Define interaction and feedback patterns
· Define responsiveness standards across phone, tablet, and web
· Design consistently across Power Apps (authoring/admin) and SPFx (read-focused) front ends
· Collaborate with Business Analyst and Architect throughout design process
Produce wireframes, prototypes, and documented design system to support business sign-off
