- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial electrical and automation systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility electrical equipment, including PLCs, drives, and control systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase uptime and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate closely with millwrights, operators, and engineers to solve problems and keep production running smoothly.
Preferred experiences and skills:
- Valid Ontario Industrial Electrician License (442A)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (SLC, ControlLogix, or CompactLogix) and industrial automation
- Solid understanding of electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime when required
Maintenance rotation schedule – 3 shifts, rotating every two weeks. Shift are – Day 7am-3pm – $44, – Aft 3pm-11pm – $44 + $1.25, Night 11pm-7am - $44 + $2.25
Pay: From $44.00 per hour
