We are urgently seeking a skilled and motivated Metal Polisher to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for refining and finishing metal components to meet exact quality standards, ensuring a polished and professional appearance for our products. Your expertise will contribute to the production of high-quality metal parts used across various industries. Responsibilities
- Use hand tools, power tools, and polishing machines to smooth, finish, and polish metal surfaces to specified standards
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand surface finish requirements and specifications
- Read and understand technical documents such as blueprints, CAD models (SolidWorks), and CNC programming codes
- Conduct quality control inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to ensure precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to promote safety and efficiency in the manufacturing process
- Collaborate with welding teams utilizing MIG welding techniques and mechanical knowledge for assembly or repair tasks
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Good Experience as a Metal polisher.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measurement instruments
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining and finishing processes
- Understanding of quality control procedures to ensure finished products meet specifications
- Experience with assembly processes involving metal components
