**Technical Project Manager - Data Center**
**Job Description**
This Technical Project Manager role focuses on leading large-scale infrastructure and capital projects from initiation through closeout across multiple sites and workstreams.
You will manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder coordination while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
The position requires frequent collaboration with internal teams, field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and customers, as well as regular travel to project locations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Lead complex infrastructure and capital projects from project initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
+ Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and overall financial performance to ensure successful delivery.
+ Coordinate resources across engineering, operations, field teams, subcontractors, manufacturers, and vendors to keep workstreams aligned.
+ Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, cost tracking tools, and executive-level reporting.
+ Oversee and maintain all project documentation, including change management records, technical documentation, project records, and turnover packages.
+ Facilitate clear and consistent communication between internal stakeholders and external customers to ensure alignment throughout project execution.
+ Coordinate procurement activities, including material ordering, deliveries, and project logistics to support field execution.
+ Monitor project performance against key metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary to address issues or delays.
+ Support project commissioning activities, manage project handover, and provide post-project support as needed.
+ Collaborate with field teams involved in low voltage work, facilities maintenance, troubleshooting, pulling wire, data cabling, electrical tasks, and construction activities to ensure secure and efficient execution.
**Essential Skills**
+ 10+ years of project management experience within infrastructure, industrial, construction, technical services, manufacturing, or related environments.
+ Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets, scope, and overall financial performance.
+ Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, including field personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and clients across various locations.
+ Strong understanding of project controls, change management, documentation practices, and contract administration.
+ Exceptional communication, organization, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and align diverse teams.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced workplace.
+ Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% as required for site visits and project coordination.
+ Familiarity with infrastructure-related work such as low voltage systems, facilities maintenance, troubleshooting, pulling wire, data cabling, electrical tasks, and construction environments.
+ Proficiency in coordinating technical teams and field crews using hand tools and construction-related equipment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience supporting mission-critical,
industrial, utility, manufacturing, telecommunications, or infrastructure projects.
+ Project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, or an equivalent credential.
+ Experience using project scheduling and project management software tools.
+ Experience working in highly regulated or technically complex environments.
+ Experience supporting projects involving multiple locations or international stakeholders.
+ Experience working on new construction and refurbishment projects in infrastructure or industrial settings.

The work centers on new construction and refurbishment projects in infrastructure, industrial, or technical environments, involving coordination with field teams performing low voltage work, facilities maintenance, troubleshooting, pulling wire, data cabling, electrical tasks, and construction activities using standard hand tools.
The workplace is fast-paced and project-driven, requiring flexibility to adapt to changing site conditions, schedules, and priorities while maintaining strong communication with distributed teams.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Prince George, BC.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $72.00/hr.
