Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Care, the Personal Support Worker (PSW) is responsible for delivering high-quality personal care and support services to our community members while promoting their dignity, independence, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide compassionate personal care in accordance with Harbour Hill policies, physician orders, and established nursing standards.
- Build positive, respectful relationships with community members, families, visitors, and fellow team members.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly assigned duties in accordance with community policies and procedures.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to Emergency Response System calls.
- Observe, document, and report changes in a community member's condition or any incidents, accidents, or concerns to the RPN or Wellness Coordinator.




- Assist with community member move-ins and move-outs as required.
- Maintain a secure, clean, and welcoming environment for all community members.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional resident-centered care.

Qualifications

- Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work days, evenings and night shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
