An Assembler is responsible for rotating through different tasks on assembly line while supporting the day-to-day activities of the team.
Responsibilities
- Rotate through different tasks on assembly line; Ensure workplace area is tidy
- Use a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures to complete mechanical assembly of components or products, and prepare products and other items for shipment
- Correctly identify different color wires, tabs and electronic components for proper assembly
- Practice problem solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies together
- Electronic assembly and testing of assemblies relating to lighting fixtures as set forth by 3G Lighting
- Adhere to product assembly procedures to identify problems using relevant systems and equipment
Housekeeping and Safety
- Complete housekeeping duties to maintain the Warehouse and office space in a clean, tidy and safe condition
- Adhere to the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safety guarding and general safe working practices
- Wear proper safety equipment and follow protected working practice
Working Conditions
- Work is performed in a combination of environments
- Ability to lift or move up to 50lbs when requested
- Overtime as required

- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Demonstrated problem solving skills; well organized, attentive to details
- Ability to work both as an individual and in a team environment
- Proven track record of personal responsibility and accountability
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
