Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team, responsible for ensuring the proper upkeep and maintenance of our clients properties. The ideal candidate will possess some mechanical knowledge and experience with various maintenance tools and equipment. This role involves performing routine maintenance, repairs, and landscape upkeep to maintain a safe, attractive, and operational setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks
- Operate an assortment of maintenance equipment
- Conduct gardening and horticulture activities to maintain healthy plants, lawns, and gardens
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various maintenance tasks
- Support landscape maintenance efforts including trimming, planting, mulching, and soil preparation
- Perform routine inspections of clients properties to identify issues requiring attention
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use
Qualifications
- Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or related fields an asset
- Mechanical knowledge with maintenance equipment an asset
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
