Overview

Duties
- Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing medications accurately according to prescriptions
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, labeling medications, and ensuring proper storage conditions
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering guidance on over-the-counter products when appropriate
- Process medication orders and maintain detailed records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring accuracy and safety
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area to meet health and safety standards
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals and patients
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely delivery of medications and services
Requirements
- Prior experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting is preferred, especially as a pharmacy technician or assistant
- Robust knowledge of medical terminology, medication management, and patient care protocols
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in handling prescriptions and inventory
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism
- Compassionate approach to patient interactions, demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and adhere to confidentiality standards
- Experience with Kroll computer system
