Principal responsibilities and tasks:

- Provide great customer service by ensuring the market shelves are stocked and appealing to look at
- respond to customer needs as necessary, while being friendly and helpful to our market guests.
- Maintain and stock product displays to meet company standards.
- Ensure accurate use of the first-in-first-out system while identifying inventory needs to assist with ordering.
- setup market with proper pricing and signage as per company guidelines.
- Keep market areas neat and ensure health and safety standards.
- providing correct change while cashing out customers with a friendly and accommodating attitude

Ideal candidate:

- physical fitness, including the ability to lift 50lbs, work with heavy boxes of produce, and flexibility to get into a refrigerated truck in hot sunny conditions.
- flexibility to work long days, weekdays, and MOST weekends.
- ability to maintain a consistent workflow outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, wind), proper clothing required.
- possess a valuable work ethic, positive attitude, and are willing to learn




- reliable transportation to and from work each day.
- Experience in retail would be an asset.

No prior experience is necessary as we will provide you with the training to be successful.

Farm and farm market experience is considered an asset.

Shifts would usually be 8:15-6:15 with casual breaks following the flow of customers based on the day. Hourly pay is $17.40, and we are looking to hire as many as 2 people, for 25-40 hours per week.
