Mazda of Toronto is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Vehicle Delivery Coordinator to enhance our client experience during the final stages of the car-buying process. This individual will support our Sales Consultants by coordinating vehicle preparation, handling related administrative tasks, and conducting thorough and professional vehicle deliveries to ensure a smooth and enjoyable handover for every customer. Responsibilities
- Work closely with Finance & Insurance Managers and Sales Consultants to ensure all delivery documentation is accurately completed and processed.
- Act as the main liaison for clients from the point of sale to the moment the vehicle is handed over.
- Confirm insurance details with clients prior to delivery.
- Arrange for vehicle trades, licensing, detailing, and preparation.
- Lead the client through the delivery process, ensuring all features are explained and expectations are met.
- Ensure Sales Consultants follow up with customers within 24 hours after delivery to confirm satisfaction.
- Move trade-ins and lease returns to the designated lot area.
- Label keys for trade-ins and lease returns and hand them over to the appropriate team members.
- Ensure all delivery-related documentation is fully completed and signed before final handover.
- Inspect and prepare the vehicle a minimum of two hours prior to the scheduled delivery time.
- Notify the Sales Manager promptly of any issues related to the vehicle or client.
- Educate clients on the importance and process of the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) survey.
- Provide an introduction to our Service and Parts teams to build strong after-sales relationships.
- Carry out additional administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong comprehension and communication skills
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence
- Clean driver’s abstract
- OMVIC registration
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to delivering top-tier customer service
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
