We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using dental practice management software such as Abeldent
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle patient inquiries, appointment requests, and general questions
- Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately
- Collect payments and process billing transactions at the front desk
- Maintain organized patient files and ensure confidentiality of medical information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations and patient flow
Skills
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental or medical office setting
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Abeldent
- Robust knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and office technology
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Prior experience in office administration or healthcare reception is preferred but not required
