Job Title: RECE/Qualified Program Staff

Wage: $24.86 per hour

Location: 1331 4th Ave West, Owen Sound

Role and Responsibilities:

· Nurtures and supports the development of young children

· Plans daily programming activities providing engaging experiences for the children to learn based on observations of intrinsic interests

· Helps children with their diapering routine and toilet training

· Follows routines, supporting children through transitions

· Assists children will skill development, respecting autonomy

· Carry’s out proper cleaning and sanitization practices

· Participates in child-lead experiences





· Fosters and encourages peer interaction and relationship development

· Builds rapport with students, families and community members

Skills:

· Works well with others as well as independently

· Communicates well and can problem-solve well with others

· Self-awareness and self-regulation

· Enthusiastic approach to teaching

· Adaptable and reliable

Qualifications:

· Has obtained a diploma in Early Childhood Education

· Is in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators

· Must have Standard First Aid/CPR Level C

· Must be able to provide a Vulnerable Sector Check

Pay: $24.86-$25.86 per hour
