Centre Operating Hours

- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Centre Assistants may be scheduled for one or multiple shifts, depending on availability and centre requirements. We are primarily seeking candidates who are comfortable working with upper-level math students (Grade 6 and above).

Key Responsibilities

- Mark classwork and homework for students (including higher-level math)
- Support students with math concepts and problem-solving
- Maintain a neat, organized, and professional work environment
- Support cleaning and organization of the centre, including the attached washroom
- Provide basic office and administrative support,



such as data entry and answering phone calls
- Encourage independent learning habits in students

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Strong foundation in math (Grade 6 to high school level or above)
- Friendly, dependable, enthusiastic, and presentable
- Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Able to work efficiently under time pressure
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills

Qualifications

- Previous Kumon work or student experience is highly welcomed
- Ability to teach higher-level math (Grade 6 and above) is required

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $17.60 per hour
