Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Fire Alarm Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

- Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Conduct detailed inspections and preventive maintenance on fire alarm panels, sensors, detectors, and associated low-voltage systems.
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate system integration within building infrastructures.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools, power tools, and electrical experience to diagnose faults efficiently.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate system installations during various project phases while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, service reports, and compliance records for each project.




- Assist in training junior technicians on system installation techniques, safety procedures, and troubleshooting methods.

Experience

- Proven experience as a fire alarm technician or in a similar role with a robust background in construction environments.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams accurately.
- Solid electrical experience with low-voltage wiring, sensors, power supplies, and control panels.
- Mechanical knowledge related to building systems and the use of hand tools and power tools for installation tasks.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and regulations related to fire alarm systems.
- Experience working with sensors, detectors, control panels, and other fire detection components is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues efficiently.
