Docker Transport is seeking an experienced operations professional to serve as our on-the-ground representative for Vancouver Island.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, maintaining operational standards, and staying connected to the field, without the demands of a traditional full-time management role.

We operate throughout British Columbia and are looking for a trusted local representative to support our Victoria-area delivery operations during the most important part of the day.

What You'll Be Doing

Your day will typically begin at one of our client warehouse locations, where you'll help ensure delivery operations launch smoothly and professionally.

Responsibilities include:

- Verifying delivery team readiness and attendance
- Confirming trucks, equipment, documentation, and loads are prepared for the day
- Resolving warehouse and inventory discrepancies
- Monitoring compliance with company and customer requirements
- Conducting site visits throughout the Victoria region
- Investigating service concerns, delivery issues, and operational exceptions
- Supporting positive relationships with customers, builders, warehouse teams, and delivery contractors
- Providing operational updates and field intelligence to Docker's Operations Team

This is a hands-on field leadership role that combines operational oversight, compliance monitoring,



relationship management, and problem solving.

What We're Looking For

Required

- 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, transportation, warehousing, construction coordination, field supervision, or a similar environment
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Clean driver's abstract
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Excel
- Reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement

Preferred

- Transportation or last-mile delivery experience
- Construction site experience
- Contractor management experience
- Safety or compliance-related experience
- Experience coordinating people, schedules,



or field operations

Schedule

- Approximately 25 hours per week
- Tuesday through Saturday
- Typical working hours approximately 5:30 AM to 10:30 AM
- Additional hours may occasionally be available during peak periods, operational investigations, special projects, or service recovery situations

Compensation

$32.00-$38.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Mileage reimbursement provided for frequent site visits and other business travel.
