Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and test CCTV cameras, sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and associated hardware according to schematics and blueprints
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate system setup
- Maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware, networking equipment, power supplies, and low voltage systems involved in surveillance setups
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to mount cameras, run wiring, and assemble components in various environments
- Conduct routine inspections of surveillance systems to ensure optimal operation; perform repairs or upgrades as needed
- Collaborate with construction teams during building phases to integrate telecommunication lines, sensors, and mechanical components seamlessly




- Document system configurations, maintenance activities, and incident reports accurately for record-keeping

Requirements

- Proven experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to CCTV or construction projects
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems, low voltage wiring, computer hardware, and networking fundamentals
- Mechanical knowledge for mounting cameras using hand tools and power tools in diverse environments
- Familiarity with telecommunication infrastructure including sensors, IDS devices, and schematics
- Ability to troubleshoot complex surveillance systems involving CCTV cameras, sensors, power supplies, and network connections
- Construction experience preferred for integrating systems within building frameworks
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and low voltage installation practices

Pay: $22.50-$39.40 per hour
